All policies are in place to ensure that all of our students and their families enjoy a safe, organized and comfortable experience while engaged in our programming.

1: Attire: Send your child in comfortable clothes preferably t-shirt, short, sweatpants. All kids must wear comfortable shoes preferably sneakers. To that end, please avoid sending students to class wearing dresses, jeans, costumes, tutus, fashion accessories, hats, tiaras or jewelry of any kind-- especially rings, necklaces, bracelets and hoop earrings (stud earrings are ok). No boots or fancy shoes.

2: Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Zumba Kids is a drop off class. Parents/ caregivers must stay for DEMO class ONLY. All students are brought into the studio and picked-up after class by a trusted adult. Under no circumstance will any child be allowed to leave the premises without an adult, regardless of written or verbal consent. We kindly ask that students arrive for class no earlier than 10 minutes prior, and are picked-up promptly at the conclusion of the session.

  1. Parents/Caregivers of children are asked to remain on the premises until students are called into class by their instructor. And must leave as soon as the child is being dropped off except for Demo class.

  2. If the child is being picked up by someone other than the parent or caregiver, it must be communicated hours before the class via email. A picture must be attached in the email for identification purposes.

  3. Students must arrive on time. Studio door will be locked after 10 min.

  4. Parents/ guardian must stay within reachable distance

    Policies

    Zumbini (0-4)

All policies are in place to ensure that all of our students and their families enjoy a safe, organized and comfortable experience while engaged in our programming.

Attire: Both the caregiver and child will be participating so please wear comfortable clothes

Caregiver: Caregivers can be parents, grandparents, regularly-‐‑participating aunts or uncles (parents and aunts both must sign the waivers), or nannies. Older siblings cannot represent the caregiver unless they are the child's legal guardian. We will not be responsible for your child since they are accompanied by you (caregiver).

Older Siblings: As in-‐‑house childcare is unavailable, participating siblings may also have fun in this program. As children have particular tastes, it is unpredictable if your 4 or 6yr old will enjoy this class, but my 5yr old son loves it! Other kids may come at a drop in rate (can negotiate that)

Photography and video recording: Photography is encouraged. Video recording is strictly prohibited due to copyright laws.

Etiquette for Kids: Children are allowed to run, jump, drool, crawl, and play at any given time; sometimes walking around when everyone else is sitting is THIER way of learning and observing, that’s ok. At any point, if behavior becomes disruptive or harmful to others, the caregiver must step in and re-‐‑direct the child, or take the child aside, whichever the caregiver prefers. If overly aggressive behavior is repeated, the family will be provided a refund for the remaining classes, and welcomed back once the child has matured into a less-‐‑aggressive kiddo.

Etiquette for Caregivers: We’re expecting caregivers to become fast friends, as we share experiences and learn from each other. We ask that we keep chatter to a minimum during class, as it may disrupt the class and takes attention away from the kiddos (most classes don’t allow ANY talking, I’m a little more flexible). As kids must behave, caregivers also must behave. No refunds will be provided if caregivers show aggressive behavior (verbal or otherwise).

Food: No snacks allowed during the class. You may step the child to the next room if they simply cannot wait for class to be over (Babies with bottles or no-‐‑spill sippy cups are allowed. Nursing is welcomed anywhere, anytime.

Diaper changes: Feel free to change your babies at any time, so that they are comfortable. There is a designated changing area in the bathroom. Feel free to use that,

Sick policy: It is difficult to know whether a runny nose comes from teething or a cold, but

we ask that you please make your best judgment when coming to class with any symptoms.

Unexpected events, we will do our best to keep classes as scheduled, but in case a class MUST be cancelled, we will email as soon as we know. Classes may be cancelled for the following reasons (not a complete list): if instructor and 2 substitutes are ill, extreme inclement weather, if the facilities or surrounding areas become unsafe, or acts of God. If a class is cancelled, we will notify everyone on the email and via social media. Follow www.facebook.com/zumbakidfriendly for updates delivered directly to your news feed.

Refunds are NOT available once class has started. The Zumbini Bundle is not refundable. Sessions are transferrable given the new participant completes registration paperwork required

Strollers, skates, skateboards, tricycles, bicycles, scooters and the like are not permitted in the reception and waiting areas, nor in either of the studios. If these things must make their way to the studio, they must be secured with a lock outside of the building (skates and skateboards may be placed in the interior hallway).
